Our Philosophy

At Zulene's, our goal is to keep you healthy and to help you to feel good about yourself.  To achieve this goal, we realize that we must help you to learn the importance of yearly examinations (even if they don't include a pap smear); wade through the recent confusion in the medical field over hormone replacement; encourage you to keep your immunizations up to date; and help you to select the best skin care for you.

We are always intent on improving our ability to offer a wider variety of comprehensive care for the busy women in our small community.    We are Blue Cross Preferred Providers. In support of our troops, we are offering  Annual Exams to Tri Care Prime beneficiaries.  Tri Care beneficiaries may self refer to Zulene's without a co-pay.  Tri Care Standard will still require a co-pay..  Zulene's will file your insurance claims for all other insurances once.  Unfortunately, becuase Zulene had over $40,000.00 of unpaid insurance claims when she left Alaska in 2000, she will no longer be accepting  insurance as payment for services unless the insurance has been pre approved.  All follow-up to insurance company claims must be done by the clients themselves.   Full payment will be due after sixty days, regardless of insurance promises.  Payment can be maid by check, credit card, or even cash.  There will be a $35 additional charge for any returned checks.

Consultations to decide facial treatments are free.  Medical evaluations for Rosacea- acne or other skin problems that require medical treatment or prescriptions will be billed as such.   We are looking forward to seeing you for consultations or medical appointments.
