Restylane®  and Juvederm

Restylane® and Juvederm are hylauronic acid gels  Restylane®  was approved for "dermal filling" of the naso-labial folds of the face in 2003.   Juvederm was released in 2006.  Restylane® and Juvederm are fully biocompatible, biodegradable, natural and safe, non-animal, biotechnologically produced and stringently controlled.  No testing is required.  A consultation appointment is required before any injections are started.  

Juvederm is a new hylauronic acid gel.  It advertises that it last six months.  Restylane® advertises that it lasts three months.  No testing is required.   I now use  Juvederm.
